A ceremony, attended by the international press, inaugurated the section of the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP) up to Eskişehir, which forms the most crucial link of the Southern Gas Corridor. TANAP was constructed to transport natural gas produced in Azerbaijan's Shahdeniz Natural Gas Field to Türkiye and subsequently to Europe.
In this context, the participation of 125 national and international media members in the opening ceremony was coordinated.
While the project messages were featured in 39 international publications with the desired content, the opening ceremony was widely covered in the country's agenda with a total of 3,238 news reflections in print media, TV and internet publications across Türkiye.
