As part of Netflix’s ‘Türkiye Talent Map’ project, which aims to support young talents in Anatolia to discover their potential, we held the third of the directing workshops, which were first held in Çanakkale and then in Ankara, on December 14-15 in Mardin, one of the most ancient and multicultural geographies of Türkiye.

We had the pleasure of visiting this valuable program with the esteemed Özlem Gürses and Hakkı Alkan, organizing interviews with Netflix Series Director Özge Bağdatlıoğlu. Wandering through the golden-lit stone houses and mysterious streets of Mardin, where many of Netflix's local productions are filmed, we explored the city’s historic texture and closely observed this meaningful workshop.
