24-30 APRIL VACCINATION WEEK ONLINE PRESS CONFERENCE & 5 MAY WORLD ASTHMA DAY ONLINE PRESS CONFERENCE

Working for 60 years for 'goodness and health at every moment,' GSK Türkiye conducted agenda management activities to raise social awareness during the April 24-30 Vaccination Week and May 5 World Asthma Day.

In these two agendas, coinciding with the pandemic period, a different approach was implemented than usual, and for the first time, an online press conference was organized via YouTube to raise public awareness.

Within the scope of April 24-30 Vaccine Week, the importance of vaccination against epidemics was once again emphasized at the online press conference hosted by GSK and chaired by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ceyhan.

Within the scope of May 5 World Asthma Day, an online press conference hosted by GSK and chaired by Prof. Dr. Nurhayat Yıldırım provided information on improving the living conditions of asthma patients and offered guidance on what to pay attention to during the pandemic.

As a result of the press conferences held with the intense interest and participation of national newspapers, sector magazines, news agencies, news websites, and TV channels, 40 news articles were published in the print media, 391 on news websites, and 6 in the main news bulletins of TV channels. In total, 437 news coverages reached 51 million people.
